S. Bains said that the Chief Minister According to the guidelines of Bhagwant Singh Maan, the names of many government schools of Punjab state which were caste-based have also been changed recently. He said that this process of naming schools after famous personalities of different villages/cities/towns will continue.
The Education Minister appealed to the people of the state that if they want to name the school in their area after a famous person, they can coordinate with the Education Department.
