19-05-2023 (Press Ki Taquat)– Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a six-day visit to Japan, Papua New Guinea and Australia on Friday to attend some important multilateral summits including G-7, Quad Grouping. .
He has left for Japan at 9:50 am today for a trip abroad. The Prime Minister expressed his reaction to this before his six-day visit. He said that his presence at the G-7 summit in Japan would prove useful for India as India is currently holding the presidency of the G-20.
Looking forward to exchanging views with the people there on various global topics, the Prime Minister said in a tweet. Along with this, he also tweeted that after visiting Japan, I will be present in Papua New Guinea to participate in the FIPIC Summit.
It is an important forum for promoting multilateral cooperation. During this, discussions will be held with various people on the topics of sustainable development, climate change, health care etc. This is the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to the Pacific island nation.
