A tiger (female tiger) camping on the wall of a house in a rural area of UP’s Pilibhit district has been imprisoned in a cage after several hours of struggle. During this time, people around kept watching the tiger climb on the roofs, but it remained there despite the crowd. The female tiger continued to soak in the sun on the wall and get bored. It was captured several hours later by pilibhit tiger reserve officials by administering an anesthetic injection. According to forest officials, the tiger was less than three years old. Generally, tigers in this area are attacked by the people.
