During the ongoing Vibrant Gujarat Summit, CM Manohar Lal Khattar engaged in one-on-one discussions with representatives from approximately 10 major companies hailing from Japan and the USA. The purpose of these discussions was to extend an invitation to these companies to invest in Haryana. In a meeting with a Japanese delegation, the CM warmly welcomed the representatives of various companies in the Japanese language. Notably, a consensus was reached between the governments of Japan and Haryana regarding the formulation of a hydrogen policy, which aims to promote clean and green energy.
Maruti Suzuki has also expressed its keen interest in adopting the plug-and-play policy and placing greater emphasis on electric vehicles under the Haryana Government’s e-vehicle policy. Currently, efforts are underway to identify a suitable site for establishing a plant in the state to facilitate this initiative.
