Thoothukudi, February 28 (press ki taquat bureau): Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently initiated projects and laid foundation stones for new ventures in Tamil Nadu, amounting to over Rs 17,000 crore. He criticized the UPA government for neglecting the state’s progress.
Modi emphasized that Tamil Nadu is entering a new era of advancement, attributing the state’s improved connectivity to the efforts of the Central government. He also mentioned obstacles faced in highlighting these achievements due to local governance.
The Prime Minister inaugurated India’s first green hydrogen waterway vessel in Thoothukudi, underscoring the enhanced quality of life in Tamil Nadu due to increased connectivity. He stressed that these projects are integral to India’s development roadmap.
Modi clarified that his focus is solely on development, devoid of political affiliations. He highlighted that the projects launched were long-standing demands of the local populace.
Indirectly referencing the DMK, Modi pointed out that the ruling party in Tamil Nadu had been part of the UPA government but did not prioritize the state’s progress. He reiterated that all development initiatives were carried out by him as a public servant.
