Rewari, March 22 (Press ki taquat bureau):   An investigation conducted by Rewari SDM Vikas Yadav revealed that the factory management failed to comply with industrial safety regulations, as workers were not equipped with necessary safety gear and preventive measures were not in place to prevent fatal incidents.

The inquiry committee reported that workers at the auto spare parts factory in Dharuhera town lacked proper safety equipment such as goggles and uniforms, leading to injuries when a dust collector exploded. The factory also did not have adequate safety measures in place to handle emergencies like explosions.

The investigation found that the blast was caused by a spark and workers who were not wearing synthetic clothes suffered fewer burn injuries. The committee, along with technical experts, reviewed CCTV footage, interviewed workers, and inspected the site to determine the cause of the explosion and identify other safety lapses.

A total of 39 workers were injured in the explosion, with the death toll reaching seven. Twelve workers remain in critical condition at PGIMS Rohtak, where they are receiving the best possible medical care from Dr. SS Lohchab and his team.
