Moscow, March 23 (Press ki taquat bureau): Russian authorities reported that the death toll from the recent attack at a concert hall has now reached 115, making it the deadliest incident in the country in years.
The Islamic State group has taken responsibility for the attack, which resulted in the concert hall catching fire and its roof collapsing. Following the attack, Russian security forces detained 11 individuals, with four directly involved in the assault, as confirmed by the head of the Federal Security Service to President Vladimir Putin.
The incident occurred at Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk, Moscow, where a large number of emergency vehicles were seen outside the venue. This tragic event took place shortly after President Putin’s recent electoral victory, with videos showing gunmen shooting civilians inside the concert hall.
The Islamic State’s affiliate in Afghanistan claimed responsibility for the attack, targeting what they referred to as a gathering of “Christians” in Krasnogorsk, although the claim’s authenticity remains unverified.
