Singapore, May 24 (Press ki taquat bureau): On Friday, media reports revealed that out of the passengers on the Singapore Airlines flight that experienced severe turbulence, 22 have spinal cord injuries and six, including a two-year-old child, have brain and skull injuries. Unfortunately, a 73-year-old British passenger named Geoffrey Kitchen passed away, likely due to a heart attack during the flight. The pilot made an emergency landing in Bangkok after encountering sudden extreme turbulence over the Irrawaddy Basin. Currently, 20 people are in intensive care, but none of the cases are life-threatening. The oldest patient is 83 years old, while the youngest is the two-year-old child who suffered a concussion. There are a total of 40 patients at the hospital. SIA’s CEO, Goh Choon Phong, has personally met with the affected passengers and their families in Bangkok to offer support and address their concerns. Customer care representatives have also been deployed to provide updates and assistance to the passengers.
