Ambala, May 24 (Press ki taquat bureau): Seven individuals perished, and 10 others sustained injuries when a tempo traveler they were riding in collided with a truck on Delhi-Ambala National Highway near Mohra village. The passengers were en route from Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh to Vaishno Devi shrine to offer prayers.
The travelers reported that there were around 30 individuals in the tempo traveler, and the collision occurred when the vehicle hit the truck from behind. Following the incident, the victims were swiftly taken to various hospitals in Ambala and Kurukshetra. Dheeraj Kumar, a passenger, mentioned that three people lost their lives immediately after the accident.
SHO Parao Police station Dalip Kumar stated that the victims were family members heading to Vaishno Devi. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation, and the victims have been transferred to medical facilities.
