The government has announced the establishment of “war rooms” at the airports in Delhi and Mumbai, as well as the activation of CAT-3 systems at the runways for landing of aircrafts within specified limits. It is understandable that delays in flights have tested the patience of people. In a fit of anger, a passenger assaulted a co-pilot on the plane and passengers were seen eating on the runway. However, the government has taken action in this regard. Meanwhile, the weather department has forecasted fog and cold for the next five days. Although some passengers at Mumbai airport were seen eating on the runway, the Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, has addressed the issue of city airports.
