Chief Minister Manohar Lal met the media after the felicitation ceremony of the players.
Chandigarh, October 20(Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal said that Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah will reach Karnal district of Haryana on November 2. The Union Home Minister will participate in the Antyodaya conference to be held in Karnal. He said that a big conference will be organized in which beneficiaries related to Ayushman Bharat, Pension Scheme and other facilities will be called.
The Chief Minister said that the time for Haryana Day i.e. 1st November was sought from the Union Home Minister but the time for that day could not be found.
The Chief Minister was answering the questions of the media after the felicitation ceremony of the players who won medals in the Asian Games on Friday.
Answering a question, the Chief Minister said that the Anti Corruption Bureau is working diligently to stop corruption. This has put a stop to corruption. He said that doing corruption is a sin, by doing this we do not play our role in the society but do injustice. Corruption will not be tolerated at all, Anti Corruption Bureau will continue its work like this.
SYL case in Supreme Court
Answering a question, the Chief Minister said that the SYL case is in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is giving its decisions in the right direction. The Supreme Court has made it clear that we are not saying anything about water, tribunals are formed for water, which decide who will get how much water. In such a situation, it is necessary to build a canal first. We should rise above politics on this issue.
Farmers made aware on stubble
Answering another question, the Chief Minister said that we have made farmers aware on the issue of stubble burning. Agriculture and other departments are continuously doing their work. There are minimal cases of burning of stubble. Responding to the question of giving threats over phone, the Chief Minister said that continuous action is being taken against the criminals who do so. Apart from this, the concerned department is also taking action against those who are making threatening phone calls from abroad.
