Today is the second day of the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha in New Delhi. The speaker’s election will be announced on the second day of the session, which is expected to be uneventful. Along with this, the newly elected members of parliament of Punjab took oath in the parliament for their respective positions.
It is also important to mention that Amritpal Singh, MP from Khadur Sahib, was not allowed to attend, due to which he did not take the oath. It is worth mentioning that in the first session of the Lok Sabha, Charanjit Singh Channi, MP from Jalandhar, Raj Kumar Chabewal from Hoshiarpur, Malwinder Singh Kang from Sri Anandpur Sahib, Gurjit Singh Aujla, Congress MP from Amritsar, Sukhjinder Singh Singh, Congress MP from Gurdaspur. Amarinder Singh Raja Waring from Randhawa, Ludhiana, Amar Singh from Fatehgarh Sahib, Sarabjit Singh Khalsa from Ferozepur, Sher Singh Ghubaya from Ferozepur, Harsimrat Kaur Badal from Bathinda, Gurmeet Singh Mita Heer from Sangrur, S. from Patiala. .
