The Indian Meteorological Department has reported that cold winds from the sea are blowing over the fields of northern India, rising 12.6 kilometers above sea level. According to the agency, this is causing a cold wave in northern India, and this situation is likely to continue for the next 3-4 days. The weather department has also stated that foggy and cold conditions can prevail in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh in the morning and evening. During this time, there is also a continuous spell of severe cold and dense fog in Punjab and Haryana. According to the available information, Bathinda in Punjab and Sirsa in Haryana are the coldest areas where the minimum temperature is between 4 and 4.2 degrees Celsius.
