Under the able guidance of Ms Rupinderjit Chahal, Ld. District and Sessions Judge-cum-Chairperson, District Legal Services Authority, Patiala and under the supervision of Sh. H.S. Grewal, Ld. Additional District and Sessions Judge, Patiala, an Exhibition-cum-Sale was organized in District Courts Complex, Patiala by District Legal Services Authority, Patiala in collaboration with Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Patiala, District Special Resource Center, Government Primary School, Sanauri Gate, Patiala and Central Jail, Patiala. In this Exhibition-cum-Sale, Hon’ble Judge, Advocates, Staff of Courts and general public purchased different items like hand made pens, envelope cards, candles, diyas, eco friendly bags etc.
On this occasion, Ms Manni Arora, CJM-cum- Secretary, DLSA, Patiala told that in this event all the decorative items, pens, envelope cards, candles, diyas, eco-friendly bags etc. were displayed which were made by female jail inmates of Central Jail, Patiala and special children of Government Primary School, Sanauri Gate, Patiala. All the articles were made by jail inmates in the training programme held during special campaign “Vocational Literacy for Jail Inmates”.
