New Delhi, (Press Ki Taquat): Temperatures are falling in many parts of the country. On the other hand, once again the Western Disturbance has become active. Due to this, a cyclone has formed in central Rajasthan and its surrounding areas. The Meteorological Department said where the effect of Western Disturbance can be seen. The capital of the country, Delhi, is expected to remain cloudy and rainy for the next one week. Along with this, the minimum and maximum temperature may also drop. Light rain is forecast from Thursday. Thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds (speed of 30-40 kmph) are expected over North-Western parts of the country i.e. Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand between March 19, the Meteorological Department said. It is accompanied by light/moderate rain. Along with this, it is likely to happen in Punjab, Haryana, UP and Rajasthan from March 17 to 19. Hail may occur in Bihar on March 17. According to the Meteorological Department, hail is likely to occur in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan and Muzaffarabad of Himachal Pradesh today and tomorrow. Uttarakhand till March 19, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh till March 17, north Rajasthan from March 17 to 19. Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh are likely to witness light/moderate rains with gusty winds till March 19, the Meteorological Department said. While on March 16 and 17, hail is likely to occur in East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada. According to the report, a low pressure area has formed from North Interior Tamil Nadu to Konkan. Under its influence Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka are predicted to receive moderate rainfall till March 19. Apart from this, heavy rain is likely to occur at various places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on March 18. Telangana is also likely to experience hail on March 16 and 17.
