Corona has once again knocked in the country. Gradually Corona has started spreading again. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, a rise in Corona virus cases was seen yesterday i.e. on Wednesday. 614 positive corona patients were found in 24 hours. Now Chandigarh administration also seems to be alert regarding this. Chandigarh administration has again imposed restrictions in view of the new variant of Corona. People have been instructed to wear masks. Along with this, people have been advised to avoid going to crowded areas.
Chandigarh administration issued these instructions
• Doctors, paramedics and other health care workers as well as patients and their families will have to wear masks inside health facilities.
• Cover nose and mouth with handkerchief/tissue while sneezing and coughing.
• Throw away used tissues in a closed container immediately after use.
• Practice washing hands frequently. Wash hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub.
• Limit personal contact if suffering from respiratory diseases.
• If you feel unwell, have fever, cough, difficulty in breathing, consult a doctor. Wear a mask to cover your mouth and nose when going to the doctor.
• Get your Covid test done if symptoms of corona appear. After getting the Covid test done, keep yourself isolated for seven days. If there is any problem, inform your nearest health center.
• Apart from this, avoid taking any medicine without doctor’s advice.
• Keep the elderly and children away from crowded and poorly ventilated places.
• Avoid repeatedly touching your eyes, nose and mouth with your hands.
The return of Corona virus has once again started scaring people. Let us tell you that the first case of new coronavirus sub-variant JN.1 was reported in a 79-year-old woman from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. There is a need not to panic about Corona virus but to protect ourselves wisely.
