Chief Minister Manohar Lal gave the gift of Bhagwan Parashuram Government Medical College to the people of Kaithal to be built with 950 crore rupees.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 4 projects to be built at a cost of Rs 17 crore.
A 500-bed hospital will be built in 30 months and MBBS will have 100 seats.

Chandigarh, October 16 (Press Ki Taquat)- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal said that the state government is opening medical colleges in every district to provide the benefit of door-to-door health services. There people can stay healthy without reaching the hospital and stay healthy in their own village. On this subject, the government is opening gymnasiums and wellness centers in villages. Now the dietitians in these wellness centers will give tips to people to stay healthy. Arrangements are being made for this by the state government.
Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal was addressing the people after laying the foundation stone of Bhagwan Parashuram Government Medical College at Sapan Kheri village of Kaithal district on Monday.
The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of the construction work of Bhagwan Parashuram Government Medical College at a cost of 950 crore rupees on 20 acres of land in Sapan Kheri village. This government college will have 100 MBBS seats and a 500 bed hospital will be built. The construction work of this project is targeted to be completed in the next 30 months.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal announced the construction of the road from Sujma Road Bata to Chausala They at a cost of Rs. 167.40 lakh, the road from village Majra to Rajond Pundri at a cost of Rs. 175.98 lakh, and the road in Kaithal Patti Chaudhary at a cost of Rs. 406.71 lakh. Shed of Wale Mandi and the foundation stone of the project of 6 base bus stand to be built in Patiala Road Chika at a cost of Rs 915.23 lakh has been laid. Meanwhile, people from the Brahmin community from across the state welcomed the Chief Minister on naming the medical college and hospital after Lord Parashuram and the community presented a commemorative sign. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Manohar Lal expressed his gratitude to the Panchayat and people of Sapan Kheri village for giving 20 acres of land for the college and hospital.
Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal while congratulating and wishing the residents of the state said that the state government has donated the Domestic Airport, Ambala Cantt on the first day and Bhagwan Parashuram Government Medical College and Hospital on the second day. This college and hospital will benefit not only Haryana but the nearby states. The construction of this college was announced at the Brahmin Mahakumbh on December 11, 2022 in Karnal. Lord Parashurama is the confluence of devotion and power.
He said that the previous governments had built 6 medical colleges before the year 2014 and in which there were 700 MBBS seats, but now the state government has 15 medical colleges in the state in the year 2023 and there are 2185 MBBS seats. In the near future 8 new medical colleges including Fatehabad, Sirsa, Charkhi Dadri, Palwal will be established and MBBS seats will be increased 5 times to 3500 in the next 3 or 4 years. Apart from this, the state government is also establishing Nursing College and Paramedical College. The Chief Minister said that besides focusing on medical infrastructure, the state government is also making people aware of staying healthy. For this, gymnasiums and wellness centers are being built in villages. Ayurvedic services as well as diet will be provided in these wellness centers. These diets will make people aware of healthy eating habits. Apart from this, today Haryana has progressed a lot in the field of sports, recently Haryana athletes have won 40 percent of the medals in the Asian Games.
Roadway fare free for Group D exam to be held on October 21 and 22
Chief Minister Manohar Lal while talking to reporters in Sapan Kheri village said that the Group D examination is going to be conducted on October 21 and 22, 2023. For this examination, the fare of the examinees in roadway buses has been made free. For this the examinees have to show their admit card. The Chief Minister said that if the yield of the paddy crop is good, where earlier the farmers had a quota of 30 quintals plus 10 per cent per acre. Now this quota has been increased to 35 quintal plus 10 percent per quintal. Each grain of paddy of the farmers will be bought and the farmers will not be disturbed in any way. If necessary, the quota of mills can also be increased.
