Cold weather conditions in Punjab and Haryana continue to persist without any relief, as temperatures in Hisar drop to a chilling 2.7 degrees Celsius.

Despite the freezing weather, people in Punjab are facing the extreme cold with resilience, as Amritsar records a frigid temperature of 4.3 degrees Celsius.

On January 26, the cold weather persisted in Punjab and Haryana, with temperatures dropping below average in various areas. The Meteorological Department in Chandigarh reported that Hisar in Haryana endured extremely cold conditions, with the temperature reaching as low as 2.7 degrees Celsius. Similarly, Karnal experienced a chilly night with temperatures dropping to 3.9 degrees, while Rohtak also felt the harshness of the cold at 4.6 degrees.k

The temperature in Ambala dropped to 5.6 degrees Celsius, while Narnaul experienced a slightly lower temperature of 5 degrees Celsius. Fatehabad, on the other hand, had the lowest temperature of 4.1 degrees Celsius, causing residents to feel extremely cold.

Chandigarh experienced a minimum temperature of 7.1 degrees Celsius, while the people of Punjab faced even colder weather. Amritsar recorded a temperature of 4.3 degrees, Ludhiana at 4.6 degrees, and Patiala and Gurdaspur at 4.8 degrees Celsius, all below the normal minimum temperatures. Bathinda and Faridkot were slightly warmer with a minimum temperature of 5.2 degrees Celsius.
