Covid: Instructions issued in Himachal Pradesh

After the detection of a new variant of COVID-19, JN1, in the country, the Himachal Pradesh health department has issued instructions to the chief health officers of the state to take necessary steps and testing of symptomatic patients associated with the coronavirus. According to official sources, 69 cases of JN1 have been registered. Una Chief Health Officer Sanjeev Kumar said on Tuesday that people with symptoms of cold, fever and cough have been advised to get tested for Covid-19. Such people have been advised to wear masks.
