A curfew has been enacted in various regions of Nagpur city in Maharashtra following a protest that escalated into violence over the tomb of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, as reported by officials on Tuesday. The unrest, which began on Monday evening in central Nagpur, resulted in injuries to twelve police officers, including three deputy commissioners of police, according to a senior official. In response to the disturbances, law enforcement has apprehended fifteen individuals linked to the violent incidents.
