Dharmendra, a beloved actor, has captivated audiences with his performances on the big screen. He began his journey in Hindi cinema in 1960 with the film ‘Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere’. However, his recent release, ‘Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’, has unveiled a change in his name.
The movie, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, hit theaters on February 9, with Dharmendra portraying the role of Shahid’s grandfather, affectionately known as Dada.
Dharmendra’s decision to include his middle and surname given at birth was unveiled in the opening credits. In the film, he is credited as Dharmendra Singh Deol. Dharmendra, born on December 8, 1935, is the son of Kewal Kishan Singh Deol and Satwant Kaur.
