After four months, the highest number of corona infection cases in a single day has put the central government on the toes of the state governments. In the past few weeks, the number of cases related to Covid-19 has spiked. Along with this, the number of H3N2 virus patients has also increased in the country. In view of this, the central government has issued instructions to 6 states to monitor the situation at a micro level. According to the website of the Union Health Ministry, 754 new cases of corona virus infection have been reported in India on Thursday (March 16). The total number of active corona cases in the country has reached 4,623. Before this, 734 cases of corona infection were reported in one day on November 12 last year. In the cases of Kovid-19, alert has been issued to 6 states by the central government. In view of the increasing cases of corona infection in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the Union Health Ministry has issued instructions regarding measures for investigation, surveillance and prevention. Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said that the cases of infection in Maharashtra have increased from 355 to 668 in the last one week. The number of Covid-19 cases in Gujarat increased from 105 to 279, Telangana from 132 to 267, Tamil Nadu from 170 to 258 and Kerala from 434 to 579. Along with this, the cases of infection in Karnataka have increased from 493 to 604. Bhushan said that the state governments should follow the strategy of test, treat, track, appropriate Covid behavior, vaccination under the five fold strategy. Maharashtra is also ahead in cases of corona infection. Maharashtra has so far reported the highest number of cases of Kovid-19 during all the waves of Corona. A total of 2,082 cases of Covid-19 were reported in the week till 8 March and by 15 March these cases had increased to 3,264. The central government has issued guidelines for international travelers to conduct genome sequencing, sample collection and local surveillance of corona virus cases and follow Covid-friendly behavior in crowded places. Along with this, health centers have been asked to keep an eye on cases related to diseases like covid-19, influenza. Meanwhile, one patient has died due to infection in Karnataka as well, due to which the number of people who have died due to Corona has increased to 5,30,790. According to the data released by the central government on Thursday, a total of 4,41,57,297 people have defeated Corona in the country so far. Along with this, the death rate due to Kovid-19 is only 1.19 percent. The national rate of recovery of patients in the country is 98.80 percent. According to the Ministry of Health website, 220.64 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been administered so far in the country under the nationwide vaccination drive. The important thing is that on August 7, 2020, the number of corona virus infected in India crossed 20 lakh, on August 23, 2020, it crossed 30 lakh and on September 5, 2020, it crossed 40 lakh.
