Chandigarh , October 27 (Press Ki Taquat)– The progress of any state and country will be possible only when its breadwinner becomes prosperous . With this thought, the Haryana government is ensuring the progress of the farmers of the state through continuous innovation and new initiatives for the welfare of the farmers . Under the guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal, the state government is also providing access to the market from the distribution of superior seeds to the farmers under the concept of seed to market . The Chief Minister himself is from a farmer family , he knows the struggle of farmers and their problems very well . Therefore, they are continuously ensuring the implementation of government schemes at the ground level under the welfare of farmers, so that the farmers can take maximum benefit of the welfare schemes being run for them .
The state government has taken various steps to make quality certified seeds available to the farmers at the right rate . Seed distribution grants are being provided on purchase of certified seeds of various crops to encourage farmers to adopt newly released certified varieties . The grant is provided indirectly to all farmers who purchase seeds from seed sales centers of HASDC, AHL RDC , HAIC , HAFED , HAU , NSC , IFFCO/IFDC and NFL . From October 2019 to 31 March 2020, a total of Rs. 45 crores and during the year 2020-21, a total of Rs. 55 crores have been distributed under the RKVY scheme and the State Plan scheme . When in the financial year 2021-22, about 6 lakh quintals of seeds have been distributed through various government agencies , for which about Rs. 64.70 crores have been made available by the government through the department to various government agencies . For the year 2022-23 , an amount of Rs. 58 crores has been distributed under the RKVY scheme and the State Plan scheme under the issuance of grants for the seeds of crops of the Rabi 2022-23 season of the previous year .

Therefore, the government is constantly making farmers aware to encourage advanced technologies in agriculture . For this, to encourage mechanization in the state, under the Sub-Mission on Agriculture Mechanization (SAME) scheme, 32,523 machinery has been made available to individual Karjai farmers on a 40-50 percent grant from the year 2014-15 and 472 machinery banks have been established . have been done More than 315 crore rupees have been provided as subsidy to the farmers of the state . In the year 2022-23, 2330 machines have been given by farmers on 40-50 percent grant . Apart from this , a provision of Rs.53 crore has been made by the Government of India under the implementation of the scheme in the year 2023-24 .
50 % to 80 % grant tofarmers oninputs for crop residue management . _ __
The Chief Minister believes that there is a need for comprehensive management of crop residues . Understanding this challenge, the government is giving 50 percent to 80 percent grant to farmers on materials, besides making them aware of crop residue management . Under this, 41331 crop residue management materials were made available on 50 percent grant to individual loan farmers from 2018-19 to 2021-22 to prevent pollution from crop residue dumping in the National Capital Region and 6775 custom hiring centers 80 have been established on a per cent grant . More than 584 crore rupees have been provided as subsidy to the farmers of the state . In the year 2022-23, 7294 farmers purchased crop residue management agricultural tools at a grant of 82 crores . Not only this, in the year 2023-24, the Government of India has made a provision of 300 crore rupees under the implementation of the plan .
Soilhealth testing lab is being done as an aid to farmers
Answer Identifying soil fertilizer is very important for agricultural production , but soil health testing is a difficult process . Under this objective, the Chief Minister Mr. Manohar Lal announced the Every Farm-Healthy Farm campaign , under which soil health cards will be given to all farmers after collecting soil samples from every acre of the state in three-four years . Around 55 lakh soil samples have been collected so far in the state under the Har Khet-Healthy Farm campaign and their analysis is in progress . Soil , water , pesticide and fertilizer training labs have been set up in the state to speed up the process of soil health testing . Under this, 52 ( static lab) 54 ( mini) for soil health, 3 for pesticide , 3 for fertilizer and 2 for seed testing have been established .
