Chandigarh, July 8 (Press ki taquat bureau): Two rival groups in Punjab’s Batala engaged in a deadly shootout, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. The altercation, which occurred in Vithwan village, was reportedly fueled by an ongoing feud between the two factions. According to authorities, a total of 13 individuals were involved in the confrontation, with two casualties from each group.
The violent clash also left eight individuals wounded, all of whom were promptly admitted to the hospital for medical treatment. In response to the tragic incident, law enforcement officials have initiated an official investigation and have filed a First Information Report (FIR) to address the matter.
