Chandigarh, October 30(Press Ki Taquat)– The glory of Haryana, which is known as the power house of sports, can also be seen in the 37th National Games going on in Goa. Haryanvi players are bringing glory to the state by continuously winning medals. Haryana won the gold medal in the fencing event held on Monday. In the same game, players from the state won the gold medal in the team event. Tanishka of Karnal performed excellently and gave Haryana its first gold medal in fencing. Till the time of writing the news, Haryana has a total of 45 medals in its account, which includes 18 gold, 12 silver and 15 bronze medals.
A total of 2 gold and 4 bronze medals have come to Haryana’s account in fencing. Tanishka Khatri, Sheetal Dalal, Prachi Lohan and Tannu Gulia were part of the winning team in the team event.
