Hema Malini, an actor and BJP MP, showcased her Bharatnatyam skills by performing a captivating Ramayana dance in Ayodhya. This marked her first visit to Ayodhya, where she portrayed the role of Goddess Sita. Expressing her pride in the upcoming Ram Temple inauguration on December 22, she emphasized the importance of connecting with this significant event and urged the opposition not to politicize it. Hema Malini also highlighted the loss faced by opposition leaders who declined the invitation to the Pran Pratishtha ceremony. She stated that their absence would be regrettable, while those attending would benefit from the experience. Some INDIA bloc leaders have chosen not to attend the event, alleging that it has been influenced by the BJP and RSS.
During her visit, Hema Malini expressed her gratitude for being present during this auspicious time and mentioned the enthusiasm among Bollywood artists who are preparing for Lord Ram through songs and performances. She also shared her thoughts on the need for a grand Krishna temple at Krishna Janmasthal in Mathura, stating that it should definitely exist. She acknowledged the presence of numerous temples in Mathura and Vrindavan but raised concerns about the destruction of Krishna Janmasthal and the construction of a mosque in its place. Hema Malini expressed the desire for a resolution to this issue, as the site holds great significance for Lord Krishna.
The Pran Pratishta ceremony, scheduled for January 22, will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with various leaders, celebrities, and notable personalities.
