The first match of the series will be played in Mumbai on Friday. With the preparations for the World Cup at the end of this year, the eyes of the Indian team will also test the captaincy of Hardik Pandya. This match will be played at Wankhede Stadium from 1.30 pm.
Captain Rohit Sharma will not be in this match due to family reasons. Pandya will lead the team in his absence. Under Pandya’s captaincy, Gujarat Giants won the Indian Premier League (IPL) title in their first season. He has been leading Team India in T20 Internationals for some time now.

Along with winning the four-match Border-Gavaskar series against Australia, Team India has secured the ticket for the final of the World Test Championship to be held in June. After this, the Indian team will now focus on improving their preparation for the 50-over World Cup. The ODI World Cup will be held in India in October-November this year.
