The Delhi High Court has informed its registry to notify former captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni, that a defamation case has been filed against him by his former business partners, Mihir Diwakar and his wife Soumya Das. The petitioners, along with social media platforms and media houses, have approached the High Court seeking a permanent injunction and restraining order against Dhoni for publishing and broadcasting defamatory statements. The petition was presented before Justice Pratibha M. Singh, who was informed that the petitioner did not inform Dhoni about the petition. On this, the court directed the registry to inform the cricketer through email that a defamation case has been filed against him by his former business partners. The next hearing of the case is scheduled for January 29th.
