The Nicaraguan ship that was stopped in France with Indian citizens on board has led to the Gujarat Police (CID) filing FIRs against 14 agents several weeks later. It is mentioned that although the ship involved in human trafficking was stopped, it was sent back to India. The FIR was filed on January 10 in this case. Out of these 14 agents, three are from Delhi and the rest are from Gujarat. The ADGP of Gujarat CID, Raj Kumar Pandian, stated that action is being taken to arrest them. The police have also informed that they have questioned 66 passengers who traveled from Gujarat to Dubai. They entered the European Union from Dubai. The ADGP stated that the agents had provided scripts to the passengers in order to avoid detection, which helped the passengers convince the Border Control Authority for their safe passage. He further stated that if they had not been caught in the illegal journey, they would have reached the United States.
