The alleged money laundering case related to the corruption scandal was the reason behind the arrest of Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21, 2024. In addition to this, the court has kept its decision secure on the petition of CM Kejriwal, which demands permission for his wife to attend the video conferencing during the advice-counseling sessions with the medical board. The court will announce its decision on this matter on July 6.
The court has extended the judicial custody of Arvind Kejriwal until July 12 in connection with the money laundering case. Kejriwal appeared before the special judge Kaveri Baweja through video conferencing. The ED had arrested Kejriwal on March 21, 2024, in the money laundering case. Along with this, the court has kept its decision secure on the petition of CM Kejriwal, which demands permission for his wife to attend the video conferencing during the advice-counseling sessions with the medical board. The court will announce its decision on this matter on July 6.
