Former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia appeared before the new SIT team led by DIG Harbans Singh Bhullar today for investigation into the drug trafficking case. Before appearing, he told journalists that when Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s turn comes, they will turn the tables on him. The Chief Minister needs to send another fake notice if he wants to send him in. Majithia included Dhuri ASP Yogesh Sharma in this team and said that the Chief Minister has included his favorite officer in the SIT so that he can keep giving him information every moment. At this point, many Akali workers were present, including several prominent figures like SAD General Secretary Raju Khanna. They condemned unethical action by both Congress and AAP for the Chandigarh mayor. They said it is very unfortunate that the Punjab government is resorting to more lobbying to trap him, as the fifth SIT has been formed.
