Patna 13 may (Press ki taquat bureau):  On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib in Patna City. Stringent security measures were implemented in anticipation of the PM’s visit. Takhat Sri Patna Sahib, also known as Takhat Sri Harimandir Ji, Patna Sahib, is one of the five takhats of the Sikhs, situated in the state capital. Maharaja Ranjit Singh commissioned the construction of this takhat in the 18th century to commemorate the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, was born in Patna in 1666 and spent his early years here before relocating to Anandpur Sahib. The PM’s visit to Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib took place a day after his roadshow in the state capital, making him the first prime minister to hold a roadshow in Bihar. Additionally, the PM is scheduled to deliver election rallies in support of NDA candidates in Hajipur, Muzaffarpur, and Saran on Monday.
