Emphasizing that the purpose of Parliament is to serve the nation rather than individual parties, Modi highlighted that the recent elections had already determined the people’s choice and that it was time to prioritize the nation’s interests over political gamesmanship.
Addressing the media ahead of the Budget Session, Modi called upon all political parties to recognize their special responsibility in the coming years. He stressed the need to set aside political differences and dedicate the next five years to serving the nation, particularly by empowering marginalized groups such as the poor, women, farmers, and youth. The Prime Minister also outlined a vision for a developed India by 2047, urging all parties to work towards this common goal.
