This caused the car to catch fire. Five soldiers of Rashtriya Rifles were martyred in this attack.
Terrorist organization People’s Anti-Fascist Front (PAFF) claimed responsibility for the attack. It is said to support Pakistan’s terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.

The army issued a statement saying that the attack took place on an army truck between Bhimbar Gali and Poonch in Rajouri sector. Taking advantage of the heavy rain and low visibility, the militants opened fire on the army truck. After this attack, the truck caught fire. The army has expressed the possibility of a fire in the vehicle due to the grenade attack of the terrorists.
