Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Dr. Kultar Singh Sandhawan on Thursday expressed deep sorrow on the demise of eminent agronomist Dr. MS Swaminathan.
In his condolence message, the Speaker said that Dr. MS Swaminathan strongly advocated the payment of due prices to the farmers for their produce, and he would be always remembered as Father of the Green Revolution and he will always live in the hearts of the hardworking farmers for his contribution to agriculture and the Swaminathan Commission report.
The speaker prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul.
