The aftermath of the first rain following the inauguration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya has brought to light some unexpected issues. Water has started dripping from the roof of the temple, causing concern among the locals. Reports have emerged of the wall of the new railway station collapsing and multiple road collapses on the ramp leading to the temple. Mahant Acharya Satendra Das, the temple’s religious leader, has confirmed the water leakage from the temple’s roof, particularly near the area where the priest sits and VIP visitors come for darshan.
The construction of the Ram temple, which was inaugurated on January 22, seems to be facing challenges as unexpected issues arise. Despite the presence of engineers from across the country working on the temple, the leakage from the roof has caught many by surprise. Mahant Acharya Satendra Das has mentioned that the construction work is still ongoing and expressed optimism that the entire temple will be completed by December. The revelation of the water leakage has raised questions about the quality of construction and the preparedness of the temple.
In addition to the water leakage from the temple, reports have highlighted other infrastructure issues in Ayodhya. The 13 km ramp leading to the temple has potholes at more than 10 locations, posing a risk to visitors. Furthermore, the collapse of the wall of the new railway station near the temple has added to the concerns about the overall development in the area. The incidents have sparked discussions about the consequences of inaugurating the temple prematurely and the need for thorough preparation before inviting visitors from all over the country.
