India’s worries have increased before the first match of the ODI World Cup as in-form Shubman Gill is suspected to be suffering from dengue. It is doubtful that he will play in the match against Australia on Sunday. If Gill is out of this match, then Ishan Kishan may get a chance to open the innings. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), however, has not yet confirmed the nature of his illness. Head coach Rahul Dravid will also wait for 36 hours.
