During the Maghi Mela, the Shiromani Akali Dal held its first-ever women’s conference, where former Union Minister and Member of Parliament Harsimrat Kaur Badal stated that the Shiromani Akali Dal has a strong alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Party. She mentioned that if any member of the Bahujan Samaj Party has any grievances, they can discuss it with the senior leadership. It is worth mentioning that recently, the Chief Minister of the Bahujan Samaj Party, Jasvir Singh Garhi, accused the Akali leaders of not cooperating with them. Harsimrat criticized these allegations and stated that the alliance between the Shiromani Akali Dal and the Bahujan Samaj Party is strong and permanent. She also criticized the Aam Aadmi Party’s government, stating that they made promises of providing thousands of rupees to women but failed to deliver even a single penny after two years. Now, the women of Punjab will teach them a lesson.
