An court here has extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh, who are involved in cases related to corruption in the liquor scam, until January 20. The special judge, Mr. M.K. Nagpal, has granted permission for Sanjay Singh to go for his election certificate returning officer to get his election certificate returned on January 12. Sanjay Singh, along with two other accused, Swati Maliwal and A.N. Gupta, is also likely to be elected as a member of the Rajya Sabha without any opposition.
The arrest of Sisodia and Sanjay Singh in the bootlegging case has increased to 20.
