New Delhi, August 12 (Press ki taquat bureau): The Delhi High Court provided interim relief from arrest until August 21 to Puja Khedkar, a former IAS probationer facing allegations of fraudulently obtaining benefits under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) and disability quotas. Justice Subramonium Prasad directed both the Delhi Police and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to respond to Khedkar’s anticipatory bail application, thereby initiating a legal dialogue regarding the matter. The accusations against Khedkar include the alleged submission of false information in her application for the UPSC Civil Services Examination of 2022, which she purportedly used to secure reservation advantages. Following these developments, on July 31, the UPSC took decisive action by canceling Khedkar’s candidature and imposing a ban on her participation in future examinations.
