The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi’s Kusuma School of Biological Sciences has recently introduced a fresh academic offering for the year 2024-25: the MSc in Biological Sciences program. This two-year master’s program will admit students through the Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM 2024), with a total of 20 seats available for aspiring candidates.

Professor Kundu emphasizes the selectivity of the programme, indicating that only bright and enthusiastic students will be accepted. On the other hand, Professor Manidipa Banerjee, who is responsible for the programme, emphasizes the well-rounded coursework that is designed to equip students with the necessary skills for both employment in the biotechnology industry and further studies in interdisciplinary biological sciences. The programme aims to provide a balanced education that prepares students for various career paths in the field.
