The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, stated today that the country can only progress when the benefits of welfare schemes reach all the people, including those living in remote areas. He assured that the government’s schemes will also benefit the people residing in far-flung areas. Addressing a video conference after releasing the first installment of 540 crore rupees to one lakh beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Awas Yojana (Rural) as part of the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Mahabhiyan (PMA-JANMAN), the Prime Minister mentioned that his government has dedicated 10 years to uplift the poor.
Referring to Mata Shabri, the Prime Minister said that it is natural for him to remember her when he is going to perform a special ritual at the Ram Mandir on 22nd January. He said, “The story of Lord Ram is incomplete without Mata Shabri.” He further added that Prince Ram was honored with respect.
