Gurugram/New Delhi, February 21 (press ki taquat bureau): Traffic congestion was observed at various locations in Gurugram and Delhi as law enforcement officials, armed with anti-riot gear and multiple layers of barricades, were deployed to prevent the farmers’ ‘Dilli Chalo’ march on Wednesday.
The Delhi-Gurugram-Sarhaul border and other roads experienced significant traffic jams due to restrictions imposed by the Delhi police. Barricades were temporarily lifted when the congestion reached Rajiv Chowk on Jaipur Expressway.
Heavy deployment of security personnel led to traffic disruptions on Delhi-Bahadurgarh and other roads to maintain law and order. Major traffic congestion was also reported at key points in Delhi, such as ITO, Dhaula Kuan, Rajokri, MB road, Ashram, and Mathura road.
