The ongoing farmers’ protest has led to the sealing of the Delhi-Noida border, with the imposition of Section 144 and resulting in a long traffic jam.

New Delhi, February 8 (press ki taquat bureau):
The farmers of Noida have called for a march to Delhi today, prompting the Delhi Police to strengthen security measures by barricading all borders and farmer checkpoints, among other places. The police are allowing vehicles to proceed only after thorough checking on these roads. Due to the checking, the traffic is moving at a slow pace. NH9 has also been barricaded, resulting in slow traffic on the route from Ghaziabad to Delhi.In view of the farmers’ protest, senior officers and employees of the police are currently stationed at the Delhi border. Security has also been increased at the Delhi-Noida, Chilla border in response to the farmers’ opposition march. A large number of police forces and security personnel are present at the border. The police are on high alert mode. Drones are being used to monitor the situation closely. There is heavy traffic congestion at the Delhi-Noida border, which has led to the deployment of a large number of security forces at the border. Along with the police, the Rapid Action Force is also present at the scene. Many vehicles traveling from Noida to Delhi are stuck in traffic jams. Similarly, there is a long jam on the route from Delhi to Noida as well.DIG of Noida, Shivhari Meena, announced that Section 144 has been imposed and all borders have been sealed. Heavy security forces have been deployed at all borders. Arrangements have been made to ensure that people do not face any inconvenience. We are in talks with the farmers… All vehicles are also being inspected…Due to the fear of a traffic jam, the Delhi-Noida police are already on high alert. In order to handle this situation, arrangements have already been made. The traffic has slowed down significantly due to road closures and checking.
