Chandigarh, 22 february (press ki taquat bureau): The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) will convene a meeting to discuss the situation at the Shambhu and Khanauri border points between Punjab and Haryana. Leaders from various states, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal, will be present at the meeting.
The SKM aims to address the events that occurred at the border points and determine their course of action in supporting the ongoing agitation. The “Delhi Chalo” march, organized by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM), seeks to urge the BJP-led Centre to fulfill their demands, such as a legal guarantee on the minimum support price (MSP) for crops and farm loan waiver.
However, it is important to note that the SKM is not directly involved in the “Delhi Chalo” march. In light of recent clashes at Khanauri, the march has been temporarily suspended for two days.
