Today, the minimum temperature in the national capital was recorded at 3.9 degrees Celsius, which is three degrees lower than the average temperature for this season and the lowest temperature of this winter. The Indian Meteorological Department has stated that this is the lowest temperature in the past five years. The department also mentioned that dense fog has engulfed several parts of the city. According to the Indian Railways, due to the fog, 39 trains arriving to and departing from Delhi are running late by one to six hours.
