The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported in a post on Twitter that a 6.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded in Pakistan at 2:20 pm local time, while Afghanistan experienced a 6.1 magnitude earthquake. The tremors of the earthquake were also felt in several areas of northern India, including New Delhi and Chandigarh. Islamabad, Lahore, Sargodha, Khushab, and nearby areas such as Mandi Bahauddin, Bhakkar, and Nowshehra also experienced the tremors of the earthquake.
