Chandigarh, August 30 (Press ki taquat bureau): On the morning of August 9, three audio recordings surfaced, allegedly capturing phone conversations between the authorities of RG Kar Medical College and the parents of a victim of a tragic rape-murder case, urging them to come to the hospital. This revelation has ignited a renewed debate regarding the perceived insensitivity and dissemination of misinformation by the institution’s administration in conveying such distressing news. In the recordings, a woman, who introduced herself as the assistant superintendent of the hospital, reportedly contacted the victim’s parents three times within approximately thirty minutes, emphasizing the urgency of their presence at the medical facility. During the initial call, which took place around 10:53 that morning, the caller was heard requesting the victim’s father to come to RG Kar hospital immediately, highlighting the gravity of the situation.
