The central team will hold discussions with the leaders of the non-political United Farmers’ Front and the Farmers and Workers Front on February 12, as well as pressure them to cancel the ‘Delhi Chalo’ program scheduled for February 13. Central Minister Piyush Goyal, Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Minister of State Arjun Munda will meet with farmer leaders in Chandigarh at 5 pm on February 12. Prior to this, the central team had already held a meeting with farmer leaders on Friday, in which they reached a consensus on nearly five demands. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also attended this meeting. However, it is uncertain whether the Chief Minister will be present at the second meeting as he will be attending a rally on that day. Farmer organizations are upset that while the central government is holding talks, they are preparing for the ‘Delhi Chalo’ movement.
