Kalagram presents a serene atmosphere, with a sense of tranquility enveloping the space. Oblivious to the comings and goings of visitors, four dedicated sculptors immerse themselves in their craft, each absorbed in the meticulous process of refining their artistic creations. Armed with chisels and brushes, they are in the final stages of a 20-day workshop organized by the North Zone Cultural Centre, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
The quartet of distinguished artists hailing from the tricity—Parminder Singh, Gurpreet Singh Dhuri, Mandeep Singh Mann, and Tarwinder Singh Tarri—have skillfully transformed substantial blocks of marble and granite into an array of artistic expressions, including musical instruments, digital art pieces, and abstract sculptures.
